McHale GardensPatios, paths and driveways cleaned of moss, algae and grime, and the area left tidy when we're done.
What we clean
- Patios
- Garden paths
- Driveways
It's messy work, so we take care around doors, windows and planting, and leave the area tidy.
How it's priced
- £28 per person per hour, plus £15 per hour for each pressure washer running. One person with one machine is £43 an hour.
- Bookings start at 4 hours. A small patio can be combined with a hedge trim or a tidy-up so you get the most from the visit.
- We're not VAT registered, so there's no VAT to add.
- You'll get a free estimate before any work starts, with everything listed.
What we'll need from you
- An outside tap we can connect to.
- Cars moved off the drive, if we're cleaning it.
- Garden furniture and pots moved off the area, or we can move lighter things for you as part of the job.
What affects the time
- The size of the area.
- How long since it was last cleaned, and how much moss and algae has built up.
- The surface: block paving and textured surfaces take longer than smooth slabs.
- How much needs moving out of the way first.
Good to know
- Not every surface suits pressure washing: soft natural stone and loose or crumbling pointing can be damaged by high pressure. Let us know what your surface is when you get in touch.
- Moss and algae come back over time, especially in shady, damp spots.
Pressure washing questions
How much does pressure washing cost?
£28 per person per hour plus £15 per hour per machine. Four hours of pressure washing with one person and one machine comes to £172, and there's no VAT to add.
Do I need to be in?
Not necessarily, but we'll need an outside tap we can connect to, and cars moved off the drive if we're cleaning it.
Will the moss come back?
In time, yes, especially in shady, damp spots. Cleaning it off regularly keeps on top of it.
